projectU is a 24/7 professional development platform and can be accessed by members at any time. For our Mentor Happy 1:1 services, our writers and coaches work flex schedules between the business hours of Monday – Friday 7 am – 6:30 pm EST. Phone conversations or video sessions with writers and coaches are scheduled on a first come first serve basis unless you are a rush client; rush projects are pushed to the front of our writing schedule with priority service.

When you purchase writing services from Mentor Happy, you'll experience a highly collaborative process. After your purchase, you’ll receive an email receipt and a link to complete your Wayfinder profile. Once your Wayfinder profile has been completed, our team will assign you a Certified Professional Résumé Writer and he or she will join you via phone on your scheduled day and time for your strategy session. After your session is complete, your writer will begin creating your new résumé or job search letters. During the writing process, you'll have unlimited access to your writer via email. If you purchase a résumé service, you’ll have one week to request two revisions once your writer delivers your completed résumé to you. The process typically takes one to two weeks in total for a new résumé and all letters are delivered as per the timelines described for each service. Your Wayfinder is a career profile we use to better understand your career goals and professional path. The Wayfinder is a secure, online portal where you can upload your resume, job descriptions, and other career documents. During the Wayfinder upload, we'll ask you a few questions about your career. We ask that you be as detailed as possible when answering your questions. Doing so allows your writer and/or coach to better understand you as a professional. The Wayfinder process takes about 10 - 15 minutes and needs to be completed in one sitting. You cannot save your progress. For all 1:1 services you must have a Wayfinder career profile uploaded and on file before we can begin your project. We mention the Wayfinder on several services, but you only need one Wayfinder on file with Mentor Happy for our 1:1 services. Your Wayfinder career profile remains valid until you accept a new position. Should you accept a new job and subsequently purchase services from Mentor Happy, you'll need to upload a new Wayfinder at that time.

Whether you purchase résumé, cover letter, LinkedIn or coaching services, getting started is the same. Once you complete your purchase online, you’ll receive an email receipt with a link to complete your Wayfinder profile, upload your résumé (if you have one) and schedule a resume strategy or coaching session.
